You can personalise your 'For You' tab in several ways to enhance your experience on Lumi:

• Topic control: Follow topics you're interested in and unfollow those you're not. This helps us understand your preferences.

• Interact more: Engage with posts you enjoy - your views help us recommend similar content.

• Fine-tune content: Tap the three dots to select "See more" or "See less" option to further refine your recommendations.

For You 🏠 : Your personalised feed for discovering news stories based on your preferences, interactions, and interests on Lumi News. This feed updates automatically every hour to bring you trending and relevant stories tailored just for you throughout the day.

Latest ⚡: Your go-to for breaking news and real-time updates from your favourite topics and publishers. This feed updates in real-time to ensure you see all the latest new stories the moment they're published.

Choose your default tab between 'Latest ⚡' and 'For You 🏠' to open automatically when you launch the app. This allows you to start browsing from your preferred tab without the need to manually navigate each time.

To set a default tab, navigate to the dropdown menu. From there, you can select your preferred default tab (either "Latest" or "For You") from the available options.

We've redesigned the 'Latest' tab to improve layout, navigation, and content organisation, making it easier and more enjoyable to browse.

You’ll continue to see updates from various sources based on topics and publisher you follow, but the redesigned interface now offers improved ways to discover and interact with content.

👋 Timeline view

We've said goodbye to the old timeline view and hello to a more dynamic feed. No more just articles — now you’ll see Shorts, videos, and all the latest updates in one place. You’ll still see the most recent articles and updates, but now they’re part of a more dynamic and engaging feed with added features to enhance your browsing experience. And if you prefer the simpler style, the other topic tabs will still show articles-only feeds.
