Tertuduh, Rosmaini Abdul Raof, 43, mengaku tidak bersalah dan meminta dibicarakan selepas pertuduhan ke atasnya dibacakan jurubahasa di hadapan Hakim Najwa Che Mat. Mengikut kertas pertuduhan, tertuduh didakwa dengan sengaja menyebabkan kecederaan parah terhadap isterinya, Nurfitri Moktar, 39, dengan menggunakan kerusi plastik dan getah paip di sebuah rumah di Bandar Amanjaya di sini, kira-kira jam 5 petang pada 29 Mac lalu. Dia turut didakwa melakukan kesalahan sama ke atas mangsa menggunakan penyangkut baju dan penyangkut besi di lokasi sama, kira-kira jam 9 pagi pada 23 April lalu. Berikutan itu, tertuduh didakwa melakukan kesalahan mengikut Seksyen 326 Kanun Keseksaan yang jika sabit kesalahan boleh dihukum penjara maksimum 20 tahun dan dikenakan denda atau sebat.
