<p>KOTA KINABALU: There are more murmurs and whispers surrounding several elected representatives from Sabah Bersatu who are rumoured to leave the party and instead supposedly opt for direct membership to Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) which supports Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and the Unity Government.</p> <p>Speculation has been rife since a few days ago after their position within Sabah Bersatu raised questions because the party is a component of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition who will be the opposition at federal level.</p>

PUTRAJAYA - Umno has fulfilled all the requests and information required by the Registration of Societies Department (RoS) regarding complaints that it allegedly violated its own party's constitution.
Its president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said he was confident that the recent Umno General Assembly had followed all of the rules of the meeting which had been set.
"I am confident that the Secretary-General (Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan) has fulfilled all of RoS requests and provided the full information required," he said at a press conference after the Monthly Meeting of the Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) Ministry here on Thursday.

SHAH ALAM - A Parliamentary pressure group has urged Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Johari Abdul to chart a clear plan on the Parliamentary reforms.
The Seed Community for a Professional Parliament (SCPP), in a statement today, said the plans should detail the establishment of new select committees, their numbers and membership, including The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) which will monitor all ministries led by the Prime Minister since the formation of the Cabinet more than two months after the 15th General Election (GE15).
It also suggested that the government introduced a parliamentary select committee (PSC) for Budget and Finance separately to review other financial affairs which were not included under PAC monitoring.
