No, Horse-Riding PN Supporters Did Not Wave Taliban Flags in Permatang Pauh

Police in Penang have confirmed that a group of Perikatan Nasional supporters who rode horses down a street a few days ago did not wave Taliban flags.

According to FMT, the black-and-white flag, which was misidentified by some social media users as a Taliban flag, bears the Kalimah Shahadah (affirmation of faith).

After a 16-second video of several young people riding horses through a Permatang Pauh street went viral, people started worrying about the flag. They thought it was a Taliban flag.
