Bung, Hajiji won’t go to war, says GRS man

KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah leader has downplayed the friction between Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chief Hajiji Noor and his Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) counterpart Bung Moktar Radin.

GRS information chief Joniston Bangkuai said the duo would not go to war as they had Sabah’s best interest at heart.

Joniston said Hajiji, the Sabah chief minister, valued his BN partners who are part of the state government.

“The chief minister has the interest of the state and the people at heart.

“And I do think that Bung is also a very rational leader who would consider what is good for the state, what is good for the people,” he said in a press conference here.
