Thailand to further ease Covid-19 restrictions, end pandemic emergency as scheduled

BANGKOK - Travellers to Thailand will no longer require proof of vaccination to enter the kingdom starting next month. Besides that, visitors to the kingdom no longer need to provide rapid Covid-19 test results upon arrival, among the steps taken in easing Covid-19 restrictions and promoting travel and business. Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) spokesman Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin said as the Covid-19 situation continues to improve, the nationwide state of emergency which has been in place since March 24, 2020 to curb Covid-19 outbreak will expire on Sept 30.
