AGC studying recommendations on ending mandatory death sentences

The Attorney-General’s Chambers and the Legal Affairs Division of the PM’s Department have been asked to study recommendations on the matter. KUALA LUMPUR: A draft amendment on the proposed abolition of mandatory death sentences will be prepared by the Attorney-General’s Chambers, says deputy law minister Mas Ermieyati Samsudin. She said the AGC and the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department had been asked to study and scrutinise the recommendations submitted on the matter.
