Harimau Malaya roars with 2-0 win against Hong Kong

KUALA LUMPUR – Harimau Malaya cruised into a comfortable 2-0 win against Hong Kong last night in their Tier 1 international friendly match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri.

Kim Pan-gon’s men scored both goals in the first half with Muhammad Akhyar Abdul Rashid drawing first blood in the 18th minute after the Johor Darul Ta’zim player converted an assist from Mohamad Faisal Abdul Halim.

This is Akhyar’s ninth international goal after scoring the sole winner during last week’s friendly clash with Turkmenistan.
