KUALA LUMPUR - The Unity Government today announced the introduction of the Fixed Internet Broadband Unity Package which is aimed at helping the B40 households, veterans, persons with disabilities and senior citizens to enjoy broadband services at a lower price.
Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil said the introduction of the package was in line with the government’s commitment to reduce the people’s cost of living.
He said the package offers internet services with speeds of up to 30 Mbps along with unlimited data that costs only RM69 a month.

KUALA LUMPUR - Two men were seriously injured after being slashed with a parang during a fight in Jalan Mutiara Raya in Cheras early March 31 morning.
Cheras district police chief ACP Zam Halim Jamaluddin said following an investigation, a 39-year-old local woman was detained at 7.30 pm on the same day in Taman Seri Aman, CherasHe said police had received information about a fight involving two local men from its Crime Prevention Patrol from the Cheras police station at 4 am.
"Both men suffered injuries to the neck, arm and hand in the fight,” he said in a statement today.

KUALA LUMPUR - Police are looking for eight masked men believed to be involved in a house robbery and escaped with about three kilogrammes of jewellery in Taman Bukit Kinrara, Puchong, early this morning.
Serdang district police chief ACP A.A Anbalagan said in the 4.10 am incident, the 24-year-old victim was standing in front of his house compound at 4.10 am on Saturday when eight masked men armed with machetes approached him.
"One of the suspects punched the victim’s face several times and forced the victim to tell them where he kept his money."They forced their way into the house and ordered the victim's mother to hand over her jewellery.
