PETALING JAYA: Three years after the Covid-19 pandemic first swept into Malaysia, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah paid tribute to the frontliners who worked tirelessly to curb the spread of the virus.
“In a blink of an eye, three years have passed since we first faced the Covid-19 pandemic,” Noor Hisham said in a tweet today.
“The first case was detected on Jan 25, 2020. At that time, it was known as 2019-nCoV.
“My appreciation to all the frontliners.”
Noor Hisham also offered his condolences to all those who lost friends and family members.
