PETALING JAYA: Rumah Bonda founder Siti Bainun Ahd Razali, who is facing charges of neglecting and abusing a Down Syndrome girl known as Bella, was ordered by the sessions court here today to enter her defence despite not being represented by a lawyer.Judge Izralizam Sanusi made the order after deciding that the defence proceedings must go on so it does not disrupt the case, Bernama reported.“The court has the absolute discretion to allow or reject the application for postponement,” he told Siti Bainun.

The Rumah Bonda founder's lawyers, from five different firms, had all withdrawn from the case.

KUALA TERENGGANU - Pas is ready to cooperate with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)'s investigation into the allegation that voters received money to vote for Pas in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Pas vice president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the party is transparent and ready to cooperate, not only with MACC but also other government bodies involved in the investigation.
The Terengganu Menteri Besar, however, said no Pas leaders in the state had been summoned by MACC as of now, to testify in the investigation.
